Another interview

After some tests done online and a couple of meetings with the recruiter, I finally have an interview with the employing company tomorrow morning. While this isn’t exactly what I want to be doing for the rest of my life, I do think it would be a good opportunity to get back into the working world and it isn’t entirely unrelated to what I really want to be doing either, plus who knows what it may lead to. I am told that I am *this* close to getting a job offer, after passing several tests already, so please keep your fingers crossed that the interview goes well. Apparently they are only interviewing one other person for this job.

Tomorrow afternoon my parents arrive in Edinburgh. They’re staying for a week (in a hotel!) to visit Edinburgh and to see me and N. I will probably be spending quite a bit of time sightseeing with them during the day. I’m looking forward to it because while I’ve lived here for nearly two months now and had visited a bunch of times before moving here, I never really did any of the proper touristy things. They will also probably meet N.’s mom, which should be interesting. Hah. Fingers crossed for that as well. ;)

  1. Fingers crossed for both the interview, and your parents possibly meeting N.’s mom! ;) And enjoy (re)discovering Edinburgh through the eyes of a tourist! I did the same here this weekend and it can be so awesome to learn more about where you live and appreciate its Schokoladenseiten, haha.
Getting back into work, at any job, will be good I’m sure so I hope tomorrow will be successful! :)
